I use this so far one time and the cartridge came out like butter. I love tools that actually work!
I've sent two emails with no response. I've had an issue. If the cartridge is recessed then the screw on the cartridge remover will never reach. So either it doesn't work or I have to push really hard against my shower wall in order to for the screw to make contact with the cartridge. So when it works it's great. But I've used it on two showers and barely got it to work because the screw wasn't long enough.
It needs a lot of space around the valve to use it.
I’m almost embarrassed to say that this tool worked. I’ve replaced many posi temp cartridges in my years of plumbing so where was this years ago? Wow!!!! Am I just getting weak or what, this stubborn cartridge came out with such ease. No more fighting and spending time walking back & forth to the van for a larger set of pliers and no more sweating or cursing in my head. This tool was heaven sent. Worth the money !!!!

I am not a plumber and the tool worked well. The existing cartridge was 15 years installed and stuck pretty well. It took many tries to finally get it out. it finally was removed leaving some broken parts behind. The "new" cartridge was installed. It was removed a couple of times for adjustments and the tool work very well.

I was hoping to teach my son (13 year old) how to use this tool and submit a video! Unfortunately with the bulk head at that front it does not fit into a tile wall if the tile and/or cement board have been fit tight to the shower valves. This does seem made of your typical high quality and I look forward to using it at the next house!

Initial observations are tool is built well . Fit and finish are that of a well built fire arm . I have not used it yet so I can’t speak on its performance as of yet . If it’s anything like the feral l blaster I will be happy. I will let you know
